Eshet Eilon has developed a set of full technological solutions for logistics centers of food retail chains. It includes advanced sorting and quality control systems that are specifically designed to improve the chains’ delivery capabilities.

> After receiving full boxes of produce, all the different fruits and vegetables that arrive to the main logistics center go through an advanced sorting system. This allows a clear sorting of the produce, sending all the fruit classified as premium to premium stores and online orders, while the rest of the produce is directed to the branches.

> After the initial sorting, the fruit undergoes washing, and a special “green” disinfection treatment using dry steam. The entire system is automatic, built of stainless steel for maximum sanitation and can handle many different products, such as cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, avocados, and a variety of many other fruits and vegetables.

> Eshet Eilon also offers an advanced quality control checkpoint system using a mix of hyper-spectral and RGB cameras. The system handles more than 50 different fruits and vegetables, and provides accurate external and internal quality ratings for every shipment that arrives to the logistics center.

The use of Eshet Eilon’s quality control system, that actually gives every shipment a score, is allowing the food chain to evaluate the produce, assure its quality, report to the sales office and pay the grower accordingly.
