Eshet Eilon’s mango line at Hadarei Galil packinghouse provides a full solution for the facility:

Receiving, washing, drying, sorting by weight, optical analyzing by external quality, packaging and automatic system for emptying full boxes.

The system is also built to strengthen the citrus sorting system in this packinghouse, including the optical system used for sorting by size and color and for analyzing external defects (in 5 quality levels!). The transition from mango packaging to citrus packaging is done easily and quickly.

Mango growing in Israel is carried out in areas of 23,000 dunams that are spread mainly in the area of the Jordan Valley and around the Sea of Galilee, as well as in the Arava desert and the Besor Region*.

All of these together yield an annual fruit production of about 55 thousand tons. A third of the produce is exported mainly to Western European countries, and the rest of the produce serves the local market.

Hadarei Galil packinghouse is located in Rosh Pina, and serves the kibbutzim of the region.
